As we all know by now, there was a huge Tornado in Joplin, Mo.
@ 1/3 of the city was destroyed. It is the home of Mo. So. St. Un. where there are many GLO chapters there.
They were lucky, the Un. was not hit but a lot of Joplin is gone!
I put a notice on our Alumni FB to see who may have been there.
I found out we have @ 6-8 in the area and all including families are safe and sound.

Looking for reports from the Ok. tornados of any friends, Brothers and family.
Now have sirens going off and a lot of tornados being reported all over KC metro area.
Had several phone calls asking if I am okay so far!! Thanks one and all!
Local news says it is a funny system as all over, blue sky in parts, and exteemly bad a few miles away. Moved all people in KC high rise buildings to lower floors including Govt. buildings.

Well, I am still alive and safe. God it was a bit crazy around here. Missed us in KC Metro, but hit just South and East of us! Missed another bullet of Mother Nature here. Today is typical May weather, deep blue sky, low humidity, and low wind. Don't get any better!

Would you beleive? 52 this morning in KC? This weekend will be back in the 90's! As you know, there is a lot of flooding coming down the Mo. River!!! Thank you Corp of Engineers, You F++k++g Morons. NW Mo. is in danger and needless to say, the river is rising near flood stage and people and land is in danger! Not as bad as the Joplin tornado but is getting as bad! While not in deaths-156 so far, but in displacements and land/crops lost.
