"True Grit" - every movie from the Coen Bros. is special, and this re-do of the John Wayne classic western is very special. Jeff Bridges at his best ever.
"The King's Speech" - Very well-told story of England's King George IV (Queen Elizabeth's father) who is tutored by a great Geoffrey Rush for his stuttering using unconventional techniques. Good insight into royal family matters in the pre-WWII days.
