A 21-year-old Stevens Point man is expected to be charged with battery of law enforcement officers, and resisting an officer during an initial appearance March 17.
On Feb. 28, the SWAT Team executed a search warrant at two Stevens Point homes. Investigators say the searches were unrelated, but $2,000 worth of marijuana was found at both locations.
During the execution of the search warrant at a UWSP fraternity, located at 1632 Main Street, investigators say Andrew Anderson, 21, became combative. Anderson was arrested but has since been released on a $5,000 signature bond.
Investigators say another person is expected to be charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
A suspect from the second search, located at 2308 Center Street, is also expected to be charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug trafficking place.

"I looked out the window because I thought it was a delivery truck and it was a SWAT truck pulling up and as I looked out, about a dozen guys with guns in full armor got out and marched down the street,” Explains Lois Freeberg-Hagem of what she saw Friday morning in her neighborhood on Main Street in Stevens Point.
Members of the Stevens Point Police Department, Plover Police Department, Portage County Sheriff's Department and a SWAT Team raided a home located at 1632 Main Street Friday morning.
Sergeant Tony Babl from the Portage County Sheriff's Department explains why the SWAT team was called in.
"Usually when there's drugs involved, there's usually weapons involved and also with this one house, especially with the one on Main Street we knew there were at least 10 people on the lease."
The house is also the location for University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point fraternity Tau Kappa Epsilon.
Police aren't saying exactly what was found in the home, other than marijuana. But during their raid, at least two officers were injured and one person was arrested for assaulting a police officer.
