The Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity has been suspended on campus until the spring semester of 2018 for what the Student Conduct website terms “hazing policy violations.” The fraternity joins nine other Greek organizations that have been suspended by the university.

Which campus please? This is pretty alraming that they've banned 10 total.

Which campus please? This is pretty alraming that they've banned 10 total. This seems be an alarming fact lately as Miami of Ohio has suspened many GLOs. It is the home of the Miami Triad when some of the major GLOs were founded there. SAE who has within the last few years have had hazing problems are now dropping "pledgeships" and just giving bids and they are becomeing members. Maybe I am living in a bubble but there is something wrong with this picture. National GLOs need to come down hard on rouge chapters and show that we are and can be responsble for teh well being of our members and others. Nationals and Schools also need to work closer if there is a problem and take care of it together to keep a chapter on campus and get rid of the problems in a chapter!!! We as GLOs have done so much for schools and commuitys along with charities to let it all just go by the way side. |
