Georgia Tech police are investigating a weekend incident at a fraternity house in which a student was attacked by a hatchet-wielding man. No one was injured in the 4 a.m. Saturday incident outside the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house on campus, according to a crime alert posted on the Tech police website. Two students heard a "chopping noise" coming from the back yard of the fraternity house, and when they went outside to investigate, they found a man chopping at a tree with a hatchet. "They confronted the male, who appeared to be intoxicated," the crime alert stated. "The male swung the hatchet at one of the students and missed. The students were not injured." www.ajc.com/news/atlanta/tech-students-escape-injury-774551.html
