It is so hard to realize that it has been 12 years since this happened. It seems like yesterday as I know exactly where I was and what I was doing.
I was sitting in my shop talking with Bookem who was on duty at the time.
DJay on my R & R station came on and said a small plan had crashed into Tower 1. He said he was going over to Div. II office as had a T V! I had small one in back room and brought it to the counter and plugged it in. Needless to say I was agahst at what then happened.
I found out later that one of my guys was standing below The Tower when first plane hit waiting for a client to go in with him. He ran like hell and got awway and was saved thank goodness.
So each have small stories to tell and thank God it was none of us. But, the thousands that perished are not for gotten in our hearts.
Lest we never forget about what was sone to this country and our people from all walks of life!

Lest I forget, there were many Greeks who were in the Towers and one reason it because WE are some of The Best of The Best.
That is why they wered there and lost to us forever.

I'll always remember 9/11/01 and not believing that a tower had fallen.
Also remember in 1963 when Loren Main came running down the house stairway saying "Kennedy's been shot." We all ran down to the basement rec room and watched the TV coverage for three days.
