There are many things we as Alumni can do and should do.
Keep in touch with your chapter and National. Give advice when you can as a mentor to the younger members. Donate time and money when you can. Attend alumni functions. Go back for fun times such as Founders Days, Homecomings, Rituals, and most of all meet the new younger members.
When I see what is happening to chapters of all GLOs with hazing, alchol abuse, I cringe and weep.
We have one of the best things in our lives happen when we each joined our respective organizations and on this site, as Mike O says we have respect for each other with none of the cat fighting we have seen on other chat sites.
I know, as the founder of my chapter, I have come down on them at times telling them "if I ever see any form of hazing or abuse, I will be the first to call National". They know I will, but in the same tone, I heap praise on them when the do good and am so proud of them when they do.
I know each in our own way work with our GLOs.
Remember, they need us and we need them to stay young, LOL!!
