I often find outstanding alumni newsletters - ones from individual alumni chapters or regional alumni associations.

Here's an outstanding example from K State's Delta Sigma Phi -

Another outstanding one is Tennessee's Sig Ep -

Tennessee does theirs three times a year - it costs them about 18 k for 1200 issues, 3 times a year, which is a bit pricey ($5 apiece), but the alumni contributions support it.
