Wow, the NCAA did a real number on them!
$60M in fines, cut scholarships from 25 to 15 and the beat goes on.
Is it right or wrong, I don't know, but College sports has become so big, they think they are above anything else!
They are damn lucky they did not shut PSU Sports F B down completely!

Reported that Penn St. almost had a 4 year shut down of the football program. That would have been a kiss of death!

Two years ago I visited the campus. Penn State was second to U. Ill. in the number of GLOs. They have a bunch of GLO houses - almost all dating from the '40s or '50s - and all scattered around the town - no real fraternity row.

Both big Greek campuses for sure! Now the Penn Foot Ball program is going to change uniforms! I guess to get the stink off a bit like that is going to help?? The shame is the ex players or current players who are getting screwed!

Seems like Penn State is not the only violater but some others, NCU is being checked out but not for the same thing as child molestation. NCU is in violations of giving athletes classes not hard to pass or non-existance. I have always said the sports program have changed the life of education. It is sports, not education! Never forget that Crieghton Un. had a round baller graduate from college that could not read or write and signed to an NBA contract???!!!
