I know some are advisers at other chapters and I commen them. I got a call the other night from our chapter at UMKC asking if I would be on the Board of Alumni Advisers. Of course I had to say yes. It was one of the stops in modorney and my road trip when he visited.

Congrats to the chapter for being wise enough to ask! They'll be in better hands already.

LOL, T J, you are to kind! They were put on probation for a rape allagation which proved untrue but the stigma is still there. But they have put that behind them and are growing and doing very well. Building repoir back with school and students as well. I wonder if IHQ will go you did what? LOL! As I told the Brother that called me, I told him, yepper, IHQ knows who I am and I am sure they wonder if I am in my right mind at times!! ;D But, I woulod be sure to tout them as i do my own chapter!!

I would think you'll find it jsut as rewarding. I was advisor at a chapter that wasn't my home chapter in the late 80's and 90's and now at a different chapter than that but still not my home chapter. I very much enjoy being the chapter advisor for both.
AND I'm VP on the Board at another chapter that is not my home chapter.
You'll have a great time doing it I'm sure
