It is hard to beleive that 10 years ago, we were attacked on our soil as another day fo infamy by outside invaders. The last being December 7, 1942 by Japan. So you remember where you were and what you were doing? I remember very well! I was at my Smoke Shop BSing with Bookem who was on duty and heard about this deed as bad as it was, he headed to his Police Division to get updates. This deed has changed all of our lives so very much and after 10 years, (Hard to believe) it did happen and many GLO members were lost by these cowerds! So, when you see a person in a Military Uniform, thank them, give way to them, in thanks for being there to help protect us a Americans. One of our own, dekegy has been promoted to Major in the US Army and I am damn proud to know him! Take the time and tell us where you were! So take the time and post and give thanks!

Three Fraters of Tau kappa Epsilon lost their lives as a result of the attacks on September 11, 2001. Frater John C. Willett of Kappa-Nu Chapter (Rockhurst University), 29, was on the phone in his 101st floor World Trade Center office when the first American Airlines jet crashed into the North Tower on that Tuesday morning. Frater Sgt. Major Larry Strickland of Chi Chapter (University of Washington) was one of nearly 200 killed in the attack on D.C. Just 19 days shy of retirement, he died at the age of 52, after giving up a day off to attend an important meeting at the Pentagon. The jet tore through the West Wing of the Pentagon and Sgt. Major. Strickland’s office. Frater Douglas Gowell, a founding father of Mu-Epsilon Chapter (University of Lowell), 52, died when the hi-jacked United Airlines flight, which he was a passenger, crashed into the World Trade Center South Tower. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and their families on this tenth anniversary of their deaths.
The gratitude and thanks of a nation goes to the military who have served in the 10 years since that date.

T J we all morn the lose of lives and luckily none of my guys were there in the Towers! But, talk about a close call, one of the guys was waiting outside for a fellow member of the company he worked for and was standing outside of Tower 1. When the plane hit, he ran like hell and got away from it. Today, he still thanks his lucky stars that the guy was late and can still be with us today! With all of the TV we have had really showing inside and out of that day, I do not think there was a dry eye across the country, I know mine were very wet while watching the footage. This affected our country as no other time than the American Revolution and The Civil War. Well, for dekeguy who is military researve, one could throw in any and all wars we have sent our people into harms way. This was one of the most dasturdly deeds ever done to this country except Japan and Pearl Harbor. We stand as Americans and are better than no others!! My favorite colors: Red, White, and Blue. Purple Green and Gold.
