As I remember those days, for $100 or $125 we could get a real band for a Sat. night house party.
A few years later, a band wasn't available for less than $1,000, and who knows how much a band is these days.

LOL, for many years we did and do not do bands. One of the guys can do D J or get a D J for a lot less! BTW, the music is better or as good as the sound system! As to parties, we do not do the big blow outs we used to do. Much more sedate for the early evening, LOL!

I heard the director of our Univ. band say: "If you have a great date, the band is always good. If your date's not too hot, the band stinks.
