Tom - I remember in KC back in the 70's free concerts by the Soldiers Memorial tower. I can't imagine anyone sayiong KC is boring umlees it residents there. So amny times in city after city, the :locals" lose sight of the variety of entertainment and quality of life available

T J how right you are! Kansas City is one of the best kept secrets of any City I know! Down town has changed a lot within the downtown loop! New Sprint Center, great concerts, Power and Light District, new Bond Bridge over the Mighty Mo. River, a beautiful thing, the New performing Arts Center, soon to open, NASCAR Speedway, MLS new Stadium, The Legends shopping area, Zona Rosa, shopping area, WWI Memorial expanded, Union Stated expanded, Nelson/Atkins Museum/Art Gallery, Cheif/Royals two stadiums, Civil War history, expansion of the west history abounds, Harry Truman house and Library area, Jazz Area along with the Negro Museum of Base Ball, Sandstone Ampatheater, National Ag. Hall of fame, The KC Zoo and Star Light outdoor theater, located in Swope Park the largets city park in the USA. Jesse James home where he lived and in St. Joseph, where he died. For GLOs, chapters abound at nearby schools, UMKC, Rockherst, William-Jewell, KU, KSU, Emporia, Central Mo., PSU, Un. Mo., Washburn Un. Not counting the Plaza Shopping area, City Market, and West Port where great resturants and bars abound. KCI, neat Airport, easy in and easy out with parking. If you are not interested in KC, stay away and don't spoil our fun and good times! Oh, food: BBQ, Italian, Pizza, Burgers, don't come, LOL! Other than that, not much happening in Kansas Metro!!!
