Recipe of the Day Crispy Half-Baked Spuds
1. Servings: 2
Ingredients 2 medium potatoes (about 2/3) pounds) 2 teaspoons melted butter or margarine 1 teaspoon lemon juice 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese pepper, to taste
Directions Cut potatoes in half lengthwise; brush cut surfaces with mixture of butter and lemon juice. Combine cheese and pepper; dip cut sides of potatoes into mixture to generously coat. Place cut sides down on well-greased baking sheet. Bake in 375-degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Alternate Baking Methods : 1. Add dried or chopped fresh herb of your choice to cheese mixture before coating potato. 2. Omit butter and lemon juice. Dip cut side of potato halves in prepared pizza sauce, then in parmesan cheese before baking. Makes 2 Servings

Recipe of the Day Cheddar Potato Pie
1. Servings: 4 2. Prep Time: 15 minutes 3. Cook Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients 1 lb. lean ground beef 1 cup chopped onion 3/4 cup A.1. Steak Sauce 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes 1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions Cook and stir meat and onion in large skillet 4 to 5 minutes. Add steak sauce; bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 5 to 7 minutes. Spoon into 1-1/2-quart casserole. Mix mashed potatoes and cheese. Spread mashed potato mixture evenly over meat mixture. Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes or until throughly heated.

Recipe of the Day Creamy Cheesy Mashed Potatoes
1. Servings: 6 servings
Ingredients 2 lbs potatoes (about 6 medium) 3/4 cup NESTLI. CARNATION. Evaporated Milk 1/4 cup butter or margarine (1/2 stick) 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions PLACE potatoes in large saucepan. Cover with water; bring to a boil. Cook over medium-high heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender; drain. RETURN potatoes to saucepan; add evaporated milk and butter. Beat with hand-held mixer until smooth. Stir in cheese. Season with salt and pepper. NOTE: Chopped green onions, chopped parsley or cooked, crumbled bacon may be added to mashed potatoes.
