Purdue student loses battle with cancer
22 year old David Feltner dies after 5 year battle
A 22-year-old Purdue student has lost his five-year battle with cancer.
David Feltner died Sunday afternoon at his parents' home in Noblesville.
Feltner was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and was a Junior in Building Construction Management. Feltner was first diagnosed with a cancer that attacks the soft tissue when he was in high school.
He and his fraternity brothers were recently featured in our weekly segment, " Heroes Among Us ."
Pi Kappa Phi hosted a fundraiser to help pay for an assistance dog for David. Feltner is survived by his parents and sister.
